Never Mind Sarah Palin, Here's Jello Biafra

After comrade Obama won the election, there was two things most people did. If they were Democrat they masturbated to the likeness of their Fuhrer for life. If they were Republican they fondled themselves to the thought of Sarah Palin running for president in 2012. This angered many people because 1)They were tired of the election or 2)They were tired of hearing about Sarah Palin. Well never mind Sarah Palin, here's Jello Biafra.

Jello Biafra was the great frontman for one of the greatest punk rock bands the Dead Kennedys. He has been involved in politics since '79 when he ran for Mayor of San Francisco (for the shits and giggles). His political awareness fuelled the anti-both wing satirical lyrics that made the Dead Kennedys famous (that and Klaus Fluoride is an amazing bassist likewise East Bay Ray should be considered a God amongst punk rock guitarists, sell outs or not). After the Dead Kennedys dismembered (the real Dead Kennedys) , he released series of spoken word albums as well as collaborations with other bands including a country album with Mojo Nixon. He lost the Green Party's presidential nomination to Ralph Nader in 2000, 2004, and 2008. But. 2012 is wide open and he is a potential candidate.

Now, both sides of the whole "wing" spectrum are corrupt as shit. Conservatives and Republicans are known for being over religious, too deep in buttfuckery with huge corporations (*cough*oil*cough*), war mongering, social elitism and being oh so ready to take away freedom of speech. Now, Liberals and Democrats are known for being too politically correct, too socialist, being too passive, social elitism (ironically) and being oh so ready to take away freedom of speech AND the right bare arms (at least in America, Canada is already under gun control). Who better not to fall under these flaws then a man who has criticised them to no point?

So, in the same way as Liberal bloggers (still hate that word and concept) supported (to the best that a blog can anyways) Barack Obama in 2008, I will support Jello Biafra. Remember: there's always room for Jello.

Oh, and on the site it mentions Henry Rollins as his running mate. That is beyond awesome.

(Please Note: I will also be posting this on my punk rock blog as it involves punk rock. Don't think that I am just being lazy posting the same thing on two different blogs)
